Job Summary
The Head of Logistics will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s logistics operations including transportation, warehouse management, distribution, and supply chain coordination. The role requires strong leadership to ensure efficient movement of goods, cost optimization, and high service levels across the logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound and outbound transportation.
• Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers.
Transportation & Distribution
• Manage fleet operations, route planning, and shipment tracking.
• Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
• Monitor delivery timelines and logistics performance metrics.
Warehouse Operations
• Supervise warehouse operations including storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock availability.
• Implement best practices for warehouse efficiency and safety.
Vendor & 3PL Management
• Manage relationships with logistics vendors and third-party logistics providers.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and service level agreements.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service compliance.
Process Improvement & Technology
• Implement logistics technology such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Use data and analytics to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
Team Leadership
• Lead and manage logistics teams across multiple locations.
• Define KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
